Specialties

I specialize in working with adults and youth with childhood issues of abuse, neglect, abandonment, lack of attachment to caregivers, and unmet emotional needs. As time passes from these childhood issues we can experience symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I am a certified EMDR therapist who utilizes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) when addressing these unmet childhood needs to find current symptom relief. As well as using EMDR, I integrate into my practice, CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, Art Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy.

I also utilize EMDR to treat recent traumatic incidents, within the past 6 months, such as abuse, death, vehicle accidents, or witnessing a traumatic incident. My goal is to meet each client's individualized needs by assessing and implementing the most effective treatment for you or your loved one.
